I’m Kassandra

I’m a born and raised Oregonian living amongst the Ponderosa Pines and snow-capped mountains of Central Oregon with my beloved 10 year old Aussie, Zuko, and my mountain man, Nick.

When I’m not behind the camera you can find me meandering out in the woods, reading a book about psychology or consciousness, planning my next trip to a far off destination, or losing track of time in conversation with a good friend.

Being a documenter of life and creator of art are innate parts of who I am. I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was twelve, and have had a journaling practice for as long as I could write — a natural observer you could say.

The underlying force behind all these things is the pull towards an intentional and well-lived life. One that’s full of meaningful moments, heartfelt connections, and some damn good times. ;)

What I love the most about photographs are their ability to show us what it feels like to be human. The good ones are like a beautiful song or a powerful book — they hit you somewhere deep.

As your photographer, it is my intention to create photographs that remind you of your humanness. To encapsulate the raw emotions and real memories of your wedding day into little pieces of art that can make you feel something every time you look at them.

Creating together like this can feel a bit more vulnerable than the traditional method of posing every moment to “perfection.” But it is my belief that where there is more genuine connection and honest moments, there is also more meaning and fulfillment. And also, it’s just more fun being able to be ourselves, am I right?

So no matter where your story leads us, we’ll tell it with intention and live it with our whole hearts.

How to Book Me (slider)
01. CONNECT CALL

First things first, let’s connect! At the bottom of this page, you’ll be able to schedule a Zoom or phone call in my calendar. During the call we’ll discuss the unique vision you and your partner have for your day, chat about the package options, walk through the booking and planning process, and answer any questions you two might have!

02. SECURE YOUR DATE

After our call I’ll send your custom proposal that includes your chosen package plus any add-ons. From there, a signed contract and 30% retainer fee (non-refundable) will secure your date! If you’re unsure about certain add-ons or the amount of hours you need, you can always add them on in the future.

03. RECEIVE THE GUIDE & QUESTIONNAIRE

After you’re officially booked, you’ll receive access to my custom Wedding Guide that covers everything you need to know about planning your dream wedding. I’ll also be sending a questionnaire to dive deeper into your love story and what you and your love value most in your photos and experience.

04. TIMELINE SUPPORT

As your day gets closer, I’ll be coordinating with you or your wedding planner to make sure the timeline for the day optimizes the best lighting opportunities, leaves room for your most valued moments, and flows seamlessly.

05. RELIVE THE MEMORIES

Within 5-7 weeks of your wedding, you’ll receive your full online gallery and print shop so you can relive every heartfelt moment.

There’s an irreplaceable timeless element to film that adds character and an extra dose of nostalgia to any gallery. Includes about 36 photographs per roll of 35mm film and 8 polaroids per pack.
