Do you shoot film?
I do! I often will incorporate at least a few frames of film into my sessions for that magical, nostalgic, timeless analog quality. The nature of film requires a slower pace & even deeper presence that adds another layer of beauty and depth to the final image. Film add-ons are available for $75/roll of 35mm and Polaroids for $50/8 color or BW images.
Do you travel?
Yes! I’m based in Portland and always up for an adventure, especially around the PNW. Road-tripping with my clients to capture them in beautiful places makes for unforgettable images and experiences, I absolutely love it. Travel rates apply beyond a 1-hour radius of PDX, but I sometimes offer special pricing for dream destinations — let’s talk about yours!
What's your approach to shooting?
Soul Sessions are often more fluid and flowy, while Brand Sessions have a bit more structure to them. Either way, shoot days are all about having fun and creating the space for your natural self-expression. That can look like incorporating conversation, music, or movement, depending on what the moment calls for. It can also be pausing to take a breath and sink in a little deeper. Whenever it’s needed, I’ll offer you gentle guidance and subtle direction.
what's your approach to editing?
I hand edit & photograph each session a little differently based on the mood and environment. However, keeping colors true-to-life is very important to me. I aim for a timeless shooting and editing style so your images never go out of style. As far as skin and bodies go, I touch up impermanent blemishes such as zits and bruises and gently soften skin. I never edit specific body parts to look different.
HOW DO PAYMENTs WORK?
A 50% deposit and a signed contract is reserves your date in my calendar. The remaining 50% is due 1 month after the first payment.
