Off-road Elopement | Silverton, Colorado

As a photographer, there are moments that etch themselves into your memory, and linger long after the camera is packed away. Lina and Max's elopement in Silverton, Colorado, was one of those experiences. Nestled up in the embrace of the majestic mountains, I found myself as the sole witness to a sacred celebration.

The day they arrived in town, we took their rented jeep deep into the wilderness to view the expansive landscapes. We stopped at breathtaking viewpoints and got to walk amongst an abandoned mining town that dates back to 1873.

The day of their Elopement, we once again hopped in the jeep for an excursion to their private and secluded Ceremony site that they had picked together on a previous journey.

As they set up their altar in the grass, the air itself seemed to hold its breath, creating an atmosphere of stillness. The mountains stood magnificently in every direction, as they said their vows to one another between their tears and laughter.

Lina and Max's elopement day transcended the ordinary and left a lasting impression on my heart. Their day wasn’t just a gorgeous photo shoot in a beautiful setting; it was an adventure, filled with genuine moments of love and euphoria to mark a new beginning in their lives as husband and wife. The entire experience suited them so perfectly and beautifully echoed their love for eachother and for mother nature.
