MCKENZIE RIVER LUXURY AIRBNB ELOPEMENT

On a foggy and rainy October morning, I set out from Bend, Oregon towards the Stayaway, a luxury airbnb in the middle of Willamette National Forest. I was invited to a styled shoot featuring the work of some incredible vendors and talented photographers. As a lover of architecture and interior design, I was super excited about the opportunity to photograph at this location, especially given the proximity to such incredible natural beauty. I mean.. the fall drive through the cascades alone was worth the trip.

I had a blast creating just for fun and challenging myself amidst all the stunning visual details and other photographers to still keep a keen eye on the emotion and energy between our lovely models. Those little in between smiles and candid moments. Overall, it was such a pleasure to be a part of something that would not have been possible without collaboration and teamwork. If you’re interested in an elopement or micro wedding that still incorporates beautiful details, I’d definitely consider hiring a talented team of vendors. Look no further for inspiration because everyone involved with this shoot absolutely killed it.

More about the location:

“Hidden in the Western Cascades, deep in the remote Willamette National Forest, steps away from the blue water of the McKenzie River, is a house unlike any in the Northwest. A full size swimming pool, four bedrooms, and luxuriously outfitted kitchen and community spaces, each back up to a lushly-forested 35 private acres. Explore your private retreat, or use the house as a step-off into all the adventures of the McKenzie River Valley, such as fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking.” – Stayaway Airbnb
