Morgan In The Redwoods
The photographs we love the most are a visceral, sensory experience. They transport us to another place in time and evoke an emotional response.
Morgan and I spent five hours amongst the redwoods that day. We stopped at the river and picked up pretty rocks, filmed video clips on my Super 8, pressed our hands and foreheads into the damp tree trunks, and twirled in dresses underneath the fog.
I can feel the magic of that day every time I look at these photos. Because we gave ourselves fully to the process of creating something meaningful.
And that.. is kinda the whole point.
