An anti-bride inspired lookbook for the modern pacific northwest bride — photographed at mildred hall; a portland wedding venue perfect for small weddings and elopements.

When my dear friend and talented makeup artist, Analisa of The Wildeflower Collective, reached out to me about photographing an editorial look-book to inspire modern brides, I was immediately thrilled by the opportunity.

Analisa and I worked together to refine the vision - a non-traditional bridal aesthetic that infused bold and personalized style into their wedding story. Anti-bride anyone?

We knew we wanted to include touches of nostalgia alongside the beautiful vintage charm of Mildred Hall (an exciting new venue in Portland) so I took the opportunity to infuse a mix of 35mm film and polaroids along with my digital photographs.

I’m blown away by the result of this collaboration, which was truly a team effort only made possible by each and every person who contributed their time, energy, and talents.

It was a dream come true to be able to meet and work alongside so many other creative souls.
