Faythe & Alan

Faythe and Alan’s wedding was quintessentially Portland in the very best way. The cool tones of the city on an overcast day, the vibrant colors of their hotel, the blue accents of Faythe’s dress/bouquet/shoes/eyes, and the lush greenery that overflowed at their venue made the visual elements a dream to photograph.

But the beauty of the day wasn’t just something you could look at, it was something you could feel — From an emotional, private vow reading in the hotel room, to tearful speeches under twinkle lights, and joyful dancing in the streets as rain sprinkled down from a moody May sky.

It’s always hard to put such a monumental day into a couples paragraphs. Thank god for photographs that can do the talking better than I ever could. And for the humans that lived the moments so fully.
