One of the most exciting and fulfilling aspects of photography is starting out with just a vision. All you have is an idea, a tiny piece of inspiration, and somewhere down the line you get to see it come to life. That’s how this shoot with Cecily and Gio began. Courtney Hellen Photography and I started with a simple concept – Earthy color palette and a western vibe. What followed after that was even better than I’d hoped for. A golden sunset in the Central Oregon high desert, a couple of hilarious, genuine, kind-hearted love birds, and images that embody the sense of freedom I’m always aiming to capture.
